When founder Steve “El Jefe” left San Diego for college in Texas, he couldn’t find salsa that matched the fresh flavor of his favorite burrito spots, so he started making his own. What began as late nights in the salsa lab turned him into a campus legend known as the local salsa dealer, with demand spreading fast. After graduating and moving back home to San Diego, that same recipe made with real ingredients became Stoked On Salsa: fresh, traditional salsa made for good times, friends, family, and saving the party.
